DEWATH

Hi!

So this time I want to tell you the latest event I was in. It is called 'Dewa Athena'.
Ok I understand if you can't get what the 'Dewa Athena' is because I was the same.

So 'Dewa Athena' or we usually call 'Dewath' is an annual sport competition of the 10th and 11th grade in my school. Every classes of each grades have 2 days to compete to win so the winners will meet at the final.

The 11th grade had their turn on 23rd-24th on March and the 10th grade had our turn on 25th on March and the other day will be held soon on 1st of April.

There are a lot of sports that contested. They are badminton, basketball, relay race, soccer, dodgeball, 'gobak sodor', and tug of war (or also known as tarik tambang).

Before it was held, we got to make our own jersey and my class' was a bit... umm... ok let's skip this. I was appointed by my friends to represent my class on badminton competition.

We gathered in Bali Field at 7.00. We were told by the committees not to be late but it got me upset when even the opening was late itself. Me and my friends filled the free time before the opening with some badminton practice.

At about 7.15 the event was finally begun. Me and my friends started this event by enjoying the basketball match between x-2 and social.

Then at about 7.45 I was told to move to bangsal to do the badminton match. Actually I didn't play alone. We play this match as a double. My partner was Mia. We competed with x-1. To be honest Im not a badminton player so I can't play it well, until now. At the first minutes, we lost by 3 points. Then, suddenly Mia asked to switched herself with Upi. So I played with her until the end. The opposites were too good, I had to admit it. On both rounds, we lost to them. It was dissapointing but at least I, we did point some.

After the tiring match, me and my friends moved to the basketball field. Sadly, I couldn't continue joining this event because I had to go to school, joined my angklung team to practice songs. I had to be there by 9 so after did the badminton match, I rushed to school.

The trainer said she doesn't want to hear any cause because that day was the evaluation day. The evaluation is important because the alumnies come to watch the performance of the songs that have been prepared. It is like a pre-concert. Oh, I forgot to tell that my angklung team will hold a concert on 29th April so make sure you'd come!;)

Because the songs has increased, that time the evaluation took pretty long time. I went home at 8 and I used train so I got home at 9 :(

So, I think that's all about the half of  'Dewath' and a little of KPA I was in that Saturday.
From the 7 sports , my class has only 1 win, boys basketball. But next Saturday, we still have boys dodgeball match and 'gobak sodor' so I'll try my best to support my friends.

Learning From Nature

Nature. Pretty little thing that is forgotten nowadays. It is around us, but sometimes unnoticed.

We, the humans, were born from nature. We are the ones that nature depends on. How’s nature now is the reflect of what us has done in our whole life.

Seeing the reality that is now happening, I’m sad that the nature isn’t like what I saw in the book I read when I was 5. Maybe some are still the same like then, just beautiful. But for me, the majority ‘nature’ in this world has been broken.

In my point of view, the nature has been broken means that the nature has always been used by irresponsible people and those people do not do anything to the nature and just leave it broken . Yeah, so the nature now is broken.

Broken in its body, or maybe in its heart. For me nature does live. It is living, but it cannot talk. It can only see. Nature has been seeing everything from the first second the earth was made. It has been seeing everything human has done. To the humans themselves, or to the other humans, or to the nature.

Broken in its body. We’ve seen how  the nature is look like now. Most of it has been replaced by what we have made. Buildings, fields, or even houses.

Broken in its heart. I made the thought that nature is living but I don’t know where its heart is. Maybe in the forest, or in the sea? This may be crazy but I still do think that nature is living. And I still do think that it is sad now. Its heart is broken right now because of what humans has done to it.

Based on what I’ve said up there, there is a thing we can learn from nature.

Nature never complains.

Nature has never complained about what humans have done.

It is broken, but never tells human how it is now.

Nature has never told us that it is broken, nor tired.

But, it is.

They are tired with our behavior.

We’ve always used nature, but never do a give and take with it.

We always take, but we never give, at least a ‘thank’.

And it never complains.

But I’m sure, later on nature will out everything it has saved the whole time.

So, lets us learn from nature. I already give one, but let’s find more.

Lastly, we, as the human living in this world, let’s give more attention to the nature. Let’s be good to it so we won’t get the bad effects we’d get from the nature later.

Let’s be good to nature. :)

I Owe You Everything, Dad

Have you ever felt indebted to someone for being someone who always be there whenever you need them and wherever you are? Do you have that 'someone'?

I do.

I owe everything I have to him. Everything.

And he is my father.

The 'kids owe everything they have for their parents' is kinda stereotype for me because I've already known that since I joined school and my mindset now is that I indeed owe everything I have to my parents but I am certainly gonna pay all those when I success.

But, there is a thing that makes me think a lot about. Its about my dad.

Do you know that I live far from my school? Yes I am. My (parents') house is far from here and it does take long time to go to school everyday.

And everyday, my father takes me to school. Everyday.
I exactly dont have anyone to take me to school averyday so my 'going to school' depends on him.

My dad does work a lot. He is a good father whom takes all the responsibility of our lives. So, taking me to school everyday in really early morning is indeed tiring for him.

Everyday, I need to go to school at half to 6. And that means so my father. We sometimes use car, but sometimes we go by motorcycle.

He has never complained about how tired was him for taking me to school. But yesterday, he said thing that succesfully made me sad.

He said that his legs were hurt. Treading the car pedal every morning has made his calfs hurt. The thing he said yesterday made me think a lot about what did I have to do then. I really dont know because I cant drive a car and I cant go to school all alone because the distance and I cant bring a motor because my age isnt old enough to get a SIM card.

Than this morning, while my dad was driving me to school, I realized something. I thought it was his habbit turning on the air conditioner for the legs because he just liked to. But then I realized that maybe the air conditioner he turned on while he was driving was to relief his hurt legs. This made me sad. I was really really sad. I had just realized something I thought was small.

I didnt realize that taking me to school everyday has made him worked sooo hard. He's never complained about it but, omg i cant tell it by words. I think I have to think about how to get to school without bringing dad with me. From now.

So, sincerely, I really really sorry, Dad.
From the deepest of my heart, I love you.

Holiday?

So this is my first post in 2017. Is anybody curious about what things I did in the last holiday? Then I will tell you all about it.

After I got my last semester report card, finally I got my times for holiday. You know, the last 6 months were really tiring so got to holiday was really really delighting because at least I could rest my whole body from school task. The holiday was about 2 weeks. Kinda short but I had to use those times for resting myself from stressing things.

On the first week, all things I did were staying at home. It was boring but for a long long time finally I could do the most important thing I couldn't do on daily. Fangirl. YEAH FINALLY. But beside fangirling I did the houseworks too. My housekeeper wasnt at home that time because she wanted to go to her hometown to see her newborn granchild. My mother and my father were both busy with their works. That's the reason why me and my 9-years-old twin-sister had to stay at home 24/7.

But the "I don't do anything just stay at home" was last only for a week. The weekend was the new year, wasn't it. Of course I didn't want to spent my new year at home only watching the tv. So, fortunately, both my big families from my dad and mom were coming at my house yeeay.

My mom's family came on 31st at 7. My cousin that time had her birthday, so she brought the thing I had been wishing all these times. PIZZA. I was really happy thank god. After enjoying the pizza, they went to their houses at 10. Because I had to wait for some of my dad's family to come, I was just watching the movie on tv all alone because all my family had gone to their dreams.

After waiting for about an hour, then they finally arrived. I was happy to greet them but I got so upset when they ate up all the left half a pizza but yeah I had to understand that they were hungry.

My family had a slept-over at my house so I didn't start the new year all alone hahaha. Actually, my dad and their siblings made a plan that our big family would have a routine 3-months family gathering and it started at my house at the new year.

After waking up, we immidiately helped my mom preparing the foods. It was 9, but the other families showed up when we hadn't even all awaken. It was kinda funny because my house was really full with people. I think I had never have my house just full with people. It was hard to walk even to toilet I'm- ok thats too much.

I used to think that after the family gathering, we would just go to our houses. End. But what really happen was us went to the swimming pool. At 5. That idea came up suddenly from my aunt so we had to rush to prepare all the things we need for swimming. Why I decided to join them to swim was because it is such rare things to swim with my whole big family. So that's why.

We went to the .............. Swimming Pool. At that time, people were going home but there were still lots people there. But. There was a thing shocked me. The water there was really really dirty. There wasn't even water for cleaning up. So about all of us decided not to swim. We just enjoyed watching the kids swimming and eating the foods we brought from home. After finished the 'swimming', we took a family picture there and went to our own houses.

On the first day in the last week of holiday, I came back to my holiday-routine : stay at home. I got nothing to do. 2 my cousins stay overnight that day but the one was busy with her school task and the other one was busy with his laptop. So, I just watched tv all day that time.

The other days that week, I just also stayed at home. Sadly, my cousins went to their houses so I was all alone. Again. But fortunately my housekeeper came home so I had less works to do. I enjoyed my time watching Korean drama titled W. It was really awesome. The drama was telling about 2 worlds, our world and manga world. I enjoyed it until the last day of holiday.

Kinda sad had to say goodbye to you, but I just had to. So, goodbye holiday :')

The Boy Who Cried Wolf

There was a boy who lived with his parents in a village on the hillside. His parents, like most of the other people in the village, were sheep farmers. Everybody in the village took turns to look after the sheep, and when the boy was 10 years old, he was considered old enough to take his turn at shepherding.
But, the boy was too easily bored, and he found it very tiresome being on the hillside with only sheep for company. So he’d find ways to amuse himself, running up rocks, climbing trees, chasing sheep, but nothing really kept him amused for very long. Then he hit upon a brilliant idea. He climbed to the top of the tallest tree, and started shouting towards the village: “Wolf! Wolf! Wooolf! Woohoolf!”
One of the villagers heard him, and got all the other men together, and armed with axes, hoes and forks, they ran out of the village to chase away the wolf and save their herd. Of course when they got there, they merely found the shepherd boy perched high up in his tree, laughing, and the sheep grazing peacefully. They were very annoyed with him. That night, the shepherd boy got a spanking from his mother and was sent to bed without any supper.
For a while life went on again as normal, and people forgot about the incident. The shepherd boy managed to behave himself whenever it was his turn to mind the sheep. Until one day, he got really bored again. He picked up some sticks, and running through where the sheep were grazing, he started hitting the sticks together, and shouting: “Wolf! Wolf! Wooolf! Woohoolf! Woohoohoooolf!”
Sure enough, somebody in the village heard and before long the men all come running up the hill armed with their sticks and axes and hoes and shovels, ready to chase away the big bad wolf, and save their sheep and the poor shepherd boy. Imagine their consternation when they arrived in the field to see their herd grazing peacefully, and the boy sitting on a big rock, laughing uncontrollably.
That night, the shepherd boy got a good telling off, an even better spanking from his mother, and was again sent to bed without any supper. For a few days people in the village went around moaning about the shepherd and his tricks, but before long things settled down again, and life resumed its normal uneventful course, and the boy had to do his turn at shepherding again every now and then. He decided he should behave himself, he really didn’t want to upset everybody all the time, and he especially didn’t want another one of his mother’s spankings!
Then, one afternoon when the shepherd was in the fields with the sheep, he noticed some of them were getting nervous, they started bleating and running hither and thither. He didn’t know what was the cause of this strange behaviour, sheep were running all over and making an ever louder racket. He got worried and decided to climb a tree so he could see what was going on. He balanced on a sturdy branch and looked around, what he saw almost made him fall out of the tree. There was a great big hairy wolf, chasing the sheep, biting at their legs, snapping at their tails. For a few seconds that boy was speechless. Then he started shouting: “Woolf! Woolof! Woohoohooloof!”
In the village an old man heard the shouting. “Oh no, not that boy again”, he said, shaking his head. “What’s going on?” inquired another villager. “It’s that shepherd boy again, he just can’t help himself”.
“That boy needs to be the centre of attention all the time”, said another. “Wait till his mother gets a hold of him”, added yet another. Nobody believed that this time there really was a wolf, and nobody got their hoe out, or their axe, or their shovel. All the sticks were left in the sheds and nobody rushed up the hillside. It wasn’t until very much later that afternoon, that the boy sent to take over the shepherding from the shepherd boy found dead sheep’s bodies strewn all over the hillside, and the shepherd boy still up there in his tree, whimpering, that the villagers found out there really had been a wolf this time.
At last the shepherd boy learnt his lesson, that if you always tell lies, people will eventually stop believing you; and then when you’re telling the truth for a change, when you really need them to believe you, they won’t.
